Most bay trips leave from the Terminal Náutico area in Cidade Baixa and head towards Ilha dos Frades and Itaparica, with the exact route depending on the operator, the weather and sea conditions on the day.

Confirm before you book

  • Weather forecast and sea conditions for the day of the trip.
  • Tides, total duration and the departure point.
  • What is included: transfers, meals, drinks, guide, island fees.
  • Cancellation and refund rules if the trip is called off for weather.

Operators, departure points and schedules change seasonally. Treat any timetable you read online — including ours — as something to reconfirm.
